METALWORK

Sheet Metal Work:
Our current manufacturing equipment has been built up to ensure a
wide variety of projects can be undertaken whilst achieving the highest
standards of quality and efficiency. Core to our abilities is the
Amada Europe 245 CNC punch press with a press capacity of 20T capable
of working with sheet thicknesses of up to 5mm, with a punch accuracy
of ±0.1mm. |
Forming: Other forming equipment includes- 4*2m 50T Promecam's
NC controlled Full compliment of drilling machines, fly presses, notchers and ancillary equipment built up over 33 years; plus access to off site machining facilities. |

Metal Fabrication: We offer a fabrication service catering for most requirements from one off prototype parts to large batch production runs handling items up to 150kg. Using custom jigs we also have the facilities to fabricate components such as automotive chasis's and specialist assemblies to clients specifications. |
CAD/CAM:
We offer full CAD/CAM facilities using AMADA Punch5, AutoCAD and have
the ability to work with files such as DXF, DWG, PDF and STEP. We
offer a full design service from prototype to production. We welcome
the opportunity to quote from electronic or existing drawings. |

Welding:
We offer a fully equipped welding shop fitted with TIG, MIG, ARC,
Spot and gas welding facilities. Some of the materials that can be
welded include aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, copper and brass,
as well as offering full soldering and brazing services. |
Assembly:
We offer light electronic assembly services and are able to stock
component parts ready to assemble into complete kits for direct shipping
to your end user on a kanban basis. |

Packaging:
Specialist packaging for finished components of all sizes can be made
available. |
FINISHING
 |
Powder Coating:
We operate a camel back track oven with dedicated powder spray booth
suitable for small and large batch work. We also offer a range of
colours and finishes and provide masking where required, according
to client specification. |
Paint Finishing: For wet paint applications, two pack finishing and air drying systems, we operate two dedicated spray booths with associated box ovens. We coat ferrous & non-ferrous fabrications, fine limit sheet metal, castings, and plastics. |

Pre-treatment
& Masking: All work that arrives
for finishing is degreased with options for phosphate treatment where
improved paint bonding is required on metals. We also provide a masking
service to customer specification. |
Colour Matching: We can match colours from client samples.

Packaging:
We package items appropriately in either bubble wrap, brown paper,
tissue paper or suitable containers. |
EXPERIENCE
Overview:
Hane Instruments Limited have over 33 years of sheet metal fabrication
experience. Jobs range from small brackets to vehicle chassis, cabinets
and complex console structures. Hane Instruments Limited handle
jobs from start to finish including design, fabrication, coating,
assembly, packaging and delivery. |

Sheet Metal For IT:
The Hane multimedia work station was made up of more than 50 drawings,
finished in stainless steel with mild steel coated fittings and
painted by our finishing operation, Hane Instruments Ltd
(Finishing). |
Kanban: Complex
components can be fabricated and held in stock on a kanban basis
or in support of other 'Just In Time' production line systems. |

Electronic & Electrical
Cabinets: Cabinets are made to order, coated, assembled
and delivered, utilising inhouse manufactured parts and off the
shelf standard components. We have over 30 years experience in fabricating
cabinets for electronic and electrical applications within the computing,
defence and industrial markets. |
Control Panels:
Founded in 1973 to supply the needs of the blooming Thames Valley
electronics market Hane Instruments Ltd have have been providing
instrument and control panels to many companies across the electronics,
defence, medical, and process engineering sectors for over three
decades. We can build custom panels to client specifications, in
a range of materials and finishes compete with fixtures and screen
printing, packaged and delivered to any location around the world. |

Hane
Instruments Ltd (Finishing), based
in Bognor Regis, offer full powder coating, phosphating and stove
enamelling services. Additional screen printing services are also
available. |
Enclosures:
As part of hane instruments service portfolio to the electronics
and electrical market, Hane Instruments manufacture instrument enclosures
in a range of metals including aluminium and mild steel and have
the resources to apply a range of metal finishing processes including
zinc plating, anodising and powder coating. We specialise in custom
and bespoke enclosures and are happy to quote from drawings or discuss
your requirements over the phone. |

Fabrication:
As well as sheet metal punching, Hane instruments have a background
in a range of metal forming techniques including forming, shearing
and rolling, as well as general fabrication skills such as sawing,
welding and general machine work and are suited to the manufacture
of a broad spectrum of component parts for prototype or full production
runs. |
Architectural Metalwork: Hane Instruments also have experience in the manufacture of structural components and large fabrications for architectural, marine and shop fitting applications in a range of materials and finishes. |

Fine Limit Sheet Metal:
Fine limit precision sheet metal component parts can be punched
to within ±0.1mm and require little secondary finishing.
The majority of our work is made up of high volume small item batch
work. |
