Overview: Hane
Instruments Limited was founded on the back of
the electronics
boom of the 1970's and specialised in the fabrication
of electronic and computer housing enclosures.
We
have continued to serve this market for over 35 years
and manufacture a varied range of sheetmetal enclosures
ranging from simple electrical boxes, light weight
plated computer enclosures and instrument panels
right up to large
scale upright rack and junction cabinets, powder
coated
and completed with fixtures and glass doors.
Sheet Metal
For IT: The Hane multimedia work station was
made up of more than 50 drawings, finished in stainless
steel with mild steel coated fittings and painted by
our finishing operation, Hane Instruments Ltd
(Finishing).
Enclosures:
We offer bespoke one off prototype jobs to customer
specifications. We also offer advise on best manufacturing
practice helping the customer to reduce lead times and

Housings,
fabricated to customer specifications sealed to
IP66,
finished and screen printed with your company name
or logo. We can also fit DIN rails, polycarbonate
windows, wall
mounting kits and anti-vibration feet to customer specification. [top]
High Volume:
We cater for high volume work of upto 1000's off
and are happy to work to suit customer production
management schedules just as annual call off's, kanban
and JIT. [top]
Material:
Hane Instruments manufacture instrument enclosures
in a range of metals including aluminium, zintec
and mild
steel. Whilst most enclosures use standard materials
we are always happy to use customer specific
materials including free issue. [top]
Finishes:
Hane Instruments have strong connections with local
metal finishers. Finishes offered include powder coating,
electroplating, electrophoretic coating, anodising and
polishing. [top]
Small Enclosures:
This enclosure, finished with a black powder coating
is 250mm long. [top]
Specialist
Applications: These small enclosures have been
internally masked and coated with a rubber gel for insulation. [top]
